Setup

Working hours and holidays

How to send calls differently in and out of working hours, set holidays, and switch the mode by hand.

For PBX version 0.3 (alpha)

A schedule divides time into working and non-working hours. A call sent “By schedule” goes to one place during working hours and to another outside them. Schedules are in “Routing” → “Working hours”.

Create a schedule

  1. Click “New schedule” and set the “Name”.
  2. On the “Hours” tab, mark the working intervals for each day of the week. There are ready-made options: “Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00”, round the clock, and “Clear”. A night shift is set with two intervals: before midnight and after it.
  3. Turn on “PBX holidays are days off” if the company does not work on holidays.
  4. On the “Where to send” tab, choose where calls go “During working hours” and “Out of hours and on holidays”.
  5. “Save”, then “Apply”.

Then choose this schedule in an inbound route: “Send calls to” → “By schedule”.

Holidays

On the “Holidays” tab, click “New holiday”: “Name”, the dates “From” and “To” (for a single day, leave “To” empty). “Every year on these dates” is for holidays with a fixed date.

Switch by hand

“Mode”: “By schedule”, “Open” or “Closed”. The manual mode works at once, without “Apply” — for example, if the office closes early.

From a phone, the mode is switched with a code if “Switch from a phone” is on: the code is shown in the schedule settings.

Time zone

Schedules follow the PBX time zone: “General settings” → “General” → “PBX time zone”.
